Get BTS of our latest collection ft. Angelique Janssen & Jonathan Baena a couple from Aruba that love the Caribbean as much as we do!
We remember the first day we discussed the idea of working with them for this shoot, we were sooo nervous because we've only talked a few times and worked in 2 small collabs but that's it, never thought of hem as the model and photographer for one of our collections before plus we weren't sure they would be interest in this project. We emailed them anyways, we had this incredible feeling of calm and inspiration just by thinking of putting into their hands "La Isla Bonita".
Would never forget the all process behind this beautiful story that brought us much more than expected... a ciber friendship with two amazing tropical beings that we hope to meet in person soon... but the funny part is that it always felt like we've met them before... The internet rocks!!! hahaha
If there's something we re-learned from this experience is to always trust your intuition, it will guide you exactly where you need to be in life.
So glad that we can share this with the world, hope you enjoy it.
With lots of ♥︎ from us to you!
PS: if you want to know their part of the story (which we totally recommend :p) read La Isla Bonita post on Ange's blog.
We are incredibly proud of what we've achieved with this new collection from the designs, to the shoot location, and everything that involves "Magia Tropical" is a vivid representation of Quisqueya, which is the entire island where Dominican Republic and Haiti reside.
In the making process we got the chance to work with beautiful and talented people from around the island. Ale & Jéssica, a couple from Haiti, are the responsible for the hand made details in the new styles to be launched. Hands full of hope and great vibes.
Each collection is very important for us but with "Magia Tropical" we've reached an all other level of excitement and dedication, inspired by nymphs and powerful female forces found in the depths of tropical forests. Each and every one of you will not only be able to experience the magic from the Caribbean but also feel like you just brought out your inner goddess in one of the new pieces.
Love, passion & a little bit of fairy dust are the main components of "Magia Tropical" and we can't wait for all of you to see what's coming in a few days!
And remember that those who believe in magic are the future.
